Summer Reading Program

OWL Club is for children in kindergarten through second grade. It meets on Thursday afternoons at 2:45 between September and April vacation. The children listen to stories, make crafts, do science experiments, play games, and just have fun while learning new things.

Rangeley Public Library offers two weekly story hours for preschool aged children from September until April vacation on Thursday and Friday mornings at 10:00 AM. The program is the same both days, so children are encouraged to choose one of these mornings for fun stories and other early literacy activities.

Summer Reading Program 2017, "Build a Better World", will kick off July 7th with a magic show. Starting July 12th, elementary aged children will meet on Wednesday mornings and preschoolers can choose either Thursday or Friday mornings. All summer reading programs begin at 10 AM. Sign up at the library!
